G1 to get Guitar Hero app

post3Guitar Hero, the smash hit console game, will soon be available in a mobile version for T-Mobile’s G1 Google Android phone. The mobile version will offer hugely popular tracks such as Welcome to the Jungle, by Guns N Roses, and Deep Purple’s Smoke on the Water. Samsung to release three new Android phones this year

LG’s first Android mobile will be low cost

post2LG have announced that they will be entering the Android market, but will not be producing an all-singing, all-dancing smartphone like those of its competitors. Huawei’s new Android phone may be exclusive to T-Mobile

HTC Magic is the latest Google Android phone

post5HTC has finally confirmed its second Google Android phone, the HTC Magic. The handset will be exclusive to Vodafone, following the exclusivity of the first handset being given to T-Mobile.

After all the rumours that have been circulating in the press and online, we have finally caught a glimpse of the device (albeit through a pane of glass) and we can confirm that it looks awesome.

Top Five Google Android Apps

post5Next Monday (16 January) sees the start of Mobile World Congress (MWC) and everybody is talking about ‘apps’. Handsets are now so much more than simply phones, and can assist you with anything from cooking to finding directions. T-mobile’s G1 was the first handset to take on the Google Android market, which has more than 1,000 programs available to download for free. With the rumour mill suggesting that MWC may showcase the next Google Android phone, we give our take on our favourite five Android applications currently available.
